Half term week in pictures.

Without a doubt, I could write a book about the jobs I have done. I wish I had!

From helping out a dinner event in Miami in a carpark, yes, a carpark, it was a very trendy event space - an amazing space, I can't rememeber what floor we were on - but, it had to be the windest night possible - thank goodness we had bulk ordered pashmina's for everyone!
.
I've also sorted out many wardrobes in my time, business outfits & casual clothes in designer order and colour order and the same for shoes!
.
But, the most out of the ordinary job I had was when I was 15/16, there was a hidden chocolate factory on my road and they produced the 'chocolates on the pillows' for the Ritz Hotel in London - and it was me who I made chocolate boxes! They were flat packed boxes - I could make 1 box in 1 minute and I got paid 10p a box. I taught my whole family how to make them to up my pay.

Woo hoo - I am finally NOT a plant killer!! I have kept this little baby alive for 4 months now - and have been determined not to kill it.
Okay, from this angle, it looks a little dry and there's a brown leaf sprouting through & OMG the leaf edges...but, nothing that a little water won't fix - hey!?
It's the little wins in life! Wish me luck for the next few months....🙈

Lucy is a force to be reckoned with & has changed the way of thinking when it comes to abandoned babies & children.

Did you know 80% of children in orphanages have a living parent!!

Child’s i Foundation helps reunite children with their own families where possible and finds loving, Ugandan adoptive or foster families where the child’s own family cannot be found or is unsafe. @childsifoundationug help repurpose orphanages into community hub centres that provide services that prevent family separation in the first place. .

I chose the wrong picture really! 🙄

It's do-able, but, you just have to manage your time (which I still need to improve on!). But, saying that, I'm sitting here watching my son do gymnastics, but, I will be back at my PC when my son is asleep. It also helps having a good network around you and for some this isn't always possible. .

Mark is a local plumber & bathroom fitter - so, constantly busy & Bay, he goes to our local primary school, reception class.
